Ben Subchia and Salim. He was born on May 24, 1965, in Daliyat al-Carmel. He studied at the Dalia G. elementary school in his village, then completed his high school studies and at Daliyat al-Carmel, in the real-time track, and passed the matriculation exams. Bashir was involved in social and community life. He was one of the founders of the volleyball team in his village. He was a member of the Association for the Advancement of Sports and a member of the Anti-Drug Committee in Daliat al-Carmel. He worked in art and left two sandstone statues. He also established contacts with artists, writers and poets and guided youth groups on a volunteer basis. Bashir was drafted into the IDF in early November 1983. After basic training, he was trained as a combat soldier and performed various tasks. According to his commander, who is in his personal file, Bashir fulfilled his task well and was an excellent soldier. His release certificate states that he was professional and dedicated. When he completed his regular service he began to study at the University of Haifa in the Department of Social Work. During his studies, he played for the university’s volleyball team and won a scholarship from the Sports Department. During his studies he wrote a journal on social behavior. He also took part in a video about his life at university and the social life of the Druze student. In 1992, he graduated with honors with the B.A. He started working at the Miftan school in his village. Bashir is called for periods of reserve duty. On September 16, 1992, he fell during his service and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Usfiya. He was survived by a mother, four brothers and three sisters – Najem, Kad, Canaan, Zohar, Moshe, Najma and Azhar. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commander wrote: “The song was acceptable to his friends, a pleasant and quiet figure.
