Prishta, Iyov
son of Chava and Nissim was born in 1950. In the same year, when he was a few months old, he immigrated to Israel with his family, and the family chose to settle in Moshav Kalahim, near Be’er Sheva Iyov was drafted into the IDF in August 1969 and volunteered for the Golani Brigade, successfully completing the basic training of the brigade and then successfully participating in the winter training and the brigade’s well-known summer training. And his comrades knew that they could count on him, that he would obey every order quickly and accurately and his colleagues knew that he would always be willing to help and encourage them, To work in the agriculture for a while, thus helping to balance the budget of the In the Yom Kippur War, Ayoub took part in the braking battles waged by our forces against the Syrians in the Golan Heights, and on 17 November 1973, Iyov was killed while carrying out his duties. He was brought to rest in the Kiryat Shaul cemetery and left behind his parents and five brothers and sisters, and his parents and family contributed a Torah scroll to his memory.
