Born in the town of Bobruysk in Russia on September 6, 1959, Eduard began his eight years of elementary studies in the city of his birth and spent two years studying in a vocational school in Russia. Edward immigrated to Israel with his parents in April 1976. His family settled in Haifa, where he completed a Hebrew course in a local studio, where he studied in a vocational school in Haifa, specializing in car mechanics. Among his friends, Edward was friendly and easy to make friends with, so he soon became absorbed in Israel and acquired many friends. October 1977 Edward enlisted in the IDF and served in the Ordnance Corps. In May 1979 he was promoted to the rank of sergeant, and on May 13, 1980, he traveled from his base in Rephidim to Ketziot. And Edward was killed at the age of 20. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa, where he was followed by his parents and sister, and his unit commander wrote in a letter of condolence to his family: “Your son Edward arrived at the unit more than two years ago, He became one of the outstanding soldiers. He was loved by all his friends and commanders, because of his love and devotion to work and his friends, and because of the smile that was on his face even in difficult moments. His ambition was to serve in a career army unit. “
