Peschover, Alexei (Alex)
Ben Tatiana and Gregory. He was born on September 13, 1981 in the Soviet Union. A brother to Galina and Anastasia. He grew up in Irkutsk, Siberia. He combined elementary and high school studies in music and music studies. After graduating from high school, Alex learned that already as a boy he loved cooking very much at the College of Culinary Arts and was ordained as a cook. Alex did not have time to work in his profession because in 1999, just on his 18th birthday, the family immigrated to Israel and settled in Beit Shemesh. Alex was very kind, with a broad heart and a good soul, and loved to help others. There was always a smile on his face, even if everything did not work out. He loved to entertain people, and in Israel he also bought many friends and acclimated quickly, even while he was studying in an ulpan. Alex, who loved languages and already loved high school in high school, enjoyed learning Hebrew very much. Alex loved his family very much, and he had a special love with his little nieces. Every time he entered the house, the girls hung around his neck in hugs, and he spent hours playing with them, walking with them in the park, doing whatever they wanted for them. In March 2002, Alex enlisted in the IDF and served in the Maintenance Corps in the Jerusalem area, where he was very proud to be a soldier and tried to fulfill his duties faithfully, always well groomed, and when he got home on vacation he made sure to organize the case before returning to base On July 12, 2002, Alex fell during his service and he is twenty-one years old. He was laid to rest in the military section of Beit Shemesh cemetery. Survived by his parents and two sisters. “Alex will always remain in our hearts and in our memory as generous and smiling as he was,” the family wrote. “We have always loved him, loved and will continue to love forever.”
