Pereg, Yoram

Son of Michael and Sarah, was born on the 26th of Elul, September 11, 1947. They were members of Kibbutz Hamadia. He was one of the students of the regional school in Neve Eitan. After completing his studies there, he studied at Yad Natan School of Technicians, and became an agricultural machinery technician. He was a member of the Ha – Noar ha – Oved movement. In November 1966, he was drafted into the IDF and served in the infantry. He participated in the battles of Tel Faher, during the Six-Day War. He fell in the line of duty on the 27th of Elul, October 2, 1967. He was brought to eternal rest in his kibbutz. The book “On Their Way” was published by the Union of the Kibbutzim, in memory of its fallen comrades.
