Partush, Shlomo


Son of Zohara and Menahem, was born on June 19, 1919 in Algiers, and immigrated to Israel on January 8, 1944. When he came he worked as a driver. During the War of Independence he enlisted and served in the Carmeli Brigade. He took part in the operation “Brosh” to destroy the Syrian bridgehead in the Mishmar Hayarden region and fell on Tuesday, July 10, 1948 in the fierce battles that took place in this sector and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Rosh Pina.
