Partok, Yosef Nachman

Yosef Nachman, son of Amalia and Avraham Chaim Partok, was born in Immanuel in 1994. Yosef joined the IDF on July 30, 2012. He served in the Armored Corps as a contact person in a Merkava tank, and he fell in operational activity on 6 Kislev, November 20, 2012 during Operation “Amud Anan” against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. He was eighteen years and a half when he died. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Givat Shaul, Jerusalem. Survived by his parents, three brothers and four sisters. After his fall, Yosef was promoted to the rank of corporal.
