Partok, Rachamim


Son of Hanina and Jacob. Rahamim was born in Tunis on the 11th of Shvat 5637 (23.1.1937). He grew up in Tunisia and immigrated to Israel at the age of sixteen within the Youth Aliyah. After graduating, Rachamim moved to Netivot, where he established his family, married Sarah son of-Aryeh and had six children, Rahamim worked for the JNF as a tour guide, and later as manager of the Gilat junction (October 1973), Rahamim began serving as the city’s commander in the Haganah, in addition to being a member of the Civil Guard. As commander of the Civil Guard in Netivot, he helped the residents and the security of the state. On December 25, 1981, Inspector Rahamim died of a Lev attack, which occurred at his home at 6:00 am. Forty-four years old in his fall. He was buried in the Netivot cemetery. Survived a wife and six children.
