Parisant, Saul


Son of Zvi and Ziva. He was born on May 24, 1938 in Jerusalem. He completed his studies at the Arlosoroff School in Jerusalem and later visited the Amal vocational school, but did not complete his studies there and joined his core group in Hashomer Hatza’ir. He was drafted into the IDF in August 1955, and when he was in the Nahal Brigade, he was the nucleus of his movement and proved his organizational ability. He ran the flock there. Revealed a strong inclination to music. He died in the course of his duty on Friday March 11, 1956, and was brought to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, where his family and friends built a music room in Kibbutz Yehiam.
