Oppenheim, Naftali


Naftali, son of Shmuel and Berta Oppenheim, was born in 1912 in Gizen-Hessen, Germany. A member of the Haganah from the day he immigrated to Israel, Naftali became ill with polio and was forced to lie in bed for a long time while he recovered from his illness. On 8 Tammuz (21.6.1953), Naftali fell while performing his duties in Ein Gev and was brought to rest in the Ein Gev cemetery. He left behind a wife and two daughters.
