Nazal, Vasim


Ben Hilweh and Salah. He was born in the village of Yanuh on 15 March 1979 to a religious family. Jihad, Jawdah, Azhadhar, Aida, Hamad, Samira, Sarra, Fuad and Najah. Wessim began his elementary school studies in his village and graduated from the “Makif Amal” high school in the center of the Galilee. In September 1997 he joined the IDF and served in the Logistics Corps as an ambulance driver in Unit 300, a position that demands professional responsibility, a spirit of volunteerism and assistance to others – qualities that were a supreme value in Weiss’s personality. And he continued his career as an ambulance driver and driver, and was appointed head of the front line drivers, volunteering for every mission as he volunteered for the last mission in which he died. They adored him and trusted him Wiss married Akmal Jahid Seif on November 1, 2003. Their son was born on August 10, 2004, and was named Jihad after Akmal’s father, and on 12 July 2006 Wassim fell in a battle in the Zarit area. Among the first six casualties were those killed in an ambush held by Hizbullah in the Azriel Brigade, where two reserve soldiers were kidnapped: Sergeant Ehud (Udi) Goldwasser and First Sergeant Eldad Regev, who was laid to rest in his village of Yanuh after a military ceremony. He was twenty-seven years old when he fell, leaving behind a pregnant woman, a son, parents and nine brothers and sisters. His second son was born on January 10, 2007 and named after him, Vessim. After his fall, he was promoted to the rank of master sergeant.
