Naor, Nimrod
Ben Nira and Jacob. He was born on March 28, 1956 in Kibbutz Dvir. As a child he moved with his mother to Kibbutz Beit Kama. He spent his early years in elementary school in his kibbutz. As a youth, he continued his studies at the Givat Haim school and belonged to the “Sheizaf” group at the Mevo’ot Hanegev educational institution. At the end of his studies he joined a third year of service in Hashomer Hatzair and was a counselor at the Bat Yam branch. His friends called him Nimer. He joined a wandering circle, traveled a lot and swallowed with pleasure from the country. In the middle of November 1974, Nimrod was drafted into the IDF, where he served as a reserve soldier in the Israel Defense Forces, and Nimrod built his home in Beit Kama, married Iris and established a family and had two daughters, Inbar and Ophir. He participated in various agricultural courses and went on to study at the Efal Seminar, where he completed his high school studies On April 4, 1992, Nimrod fell in the line of duty. While he was in reserve duty, he participated with his company in the training of the individual in the infantry training facility and died surprisingly … He was laid to rest in the military section of the Beit Kama cemetery and left behind a pregnant woman, two daughters, parents and brothers. “Nimrod served in the company for more than ten years, in various training and employment, including periods of employment in Lebanon following the Peace for Galilee war. Nimrod was a very central figure in the company and we identified him as having very good technical skills. He had an extraordinary willingness to fulfill any task, with a smile and good will.
