Yifat also sent her hand in writing and managed to write two short children’s stories and several poems, which her family collected carefully. As a teenager, Yifat was a youth counselor, and during summer vacations she was a counselor at summer camps, and she enjoyed it very much. During her high school studies, Yifat traveled with her friends to Poland – her first trip abroad – from a strong and mature return, full of stories and experiences.In early August 1995 Yifat enlisted in the IDF. As part of her job, Yifat visited a large number of outposts from the north to the south and did not shy away from the long journeys, long hours of work and hard work. After a short period of time Yifat became a registration clerk at the headquarters of the Chief Maintenance Officer, and Yifat learned to take the psychometric examinations during her service and planned to continue studying, travel the world and establish a warm and loving family.
