Musa, Menachem


Ben Nazi and Avraham. Born on 18 April 1975 in Kiryat Ata, where he grew up and was educated. Son of a large family, brother to Shula, Zion, Israel, Chana, Sasson, Sarah, Yaffa, Moshe and Seigly. Menahem began his elementary studies at the Beit Yosef School and graduated from the Migdal Or School. He continued in the “Shachar” junior high school, and successfully graduated from the “Rogozin” high school in the frameworks track. At the beginning of April 1994, Menahem was drafted into the IDF and became a driver of a heavy vehicle in the Israel Air Force, and his commanders said that he was a pleasant, quiet and disciplined soldier who performed his duties with good spirit and dedication. At the entrance to Haifa on October 17, 1994, when he was on a happy vacation, he was laid to rest in the military section of the Kiryat Ata cemetery and was promoted to corporal after his death. At the age of nineteen, Menahem was in his fall. Survived by his parents and nine brothers and sisters. In a letter of consolation to the family, the unit commander wrote: “We met Menahem as a shy, quiet and disciplined soldier, who performed all his tasks in good spirits … a soldier who showed a sincere and genuine desire to help and help … Menachem will be remembered as a sympathetic soldier.
