Moshkovitz, Elimelech


Son of Hillel. He was born in Hungary in 1909. He immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1934 and settled in Haifa, where he served in the British army. Elimelech served in Egypt and the Western Desert and was killed in a train accident on 14 Kislev, December 4, 1941, and was laid to rest in the British military cemetery in Heliopolis, Cairo. He left a wife and a child, and his name was immortalized in the Book of Volunteerism, in the Yizkor book by the Jabotinsky Institute and in the “Book of the Year”.
