Mizrahi, Meir (Little Yitzhak)


Son of Chana and Tzalach. Was born on February 3, 1927, in Jerusalem, where he graduated from elementary school and Talmud Torah, and although he excelled in his studies, he was forced to work at a young age because of the difficult financial situation at home. In the winter of 1948, with the outbreak of the War of Independence, he moved to combat service in the Lehi and took part in conquests and acts of explosion and retribution against the Arabs, On July 10, 1948, and two days later, on the 5th of Tammuz 5708 (July 12, 1948), he died in Hadassah in Jerusalem. He was buried in Sheik-Badar On the 28th of Elul 5710 (10.9.1950), he was put to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
