Mizrachi, Chana

Born in Kiryat Malachi on February 11, 1962, she studied at the elementary school and high school in her hometown and completed high school. In 1981 Chana enlisted in the IDF, underwent basic training, and then served with her nucleus at Kibbutz Tuval. Her commanders noted her as “a good soldier with high demands on her own.” On the 18th of Sivan (9.6.1982), Chana went to attend the funeral of a friend from the nucleus, which was held in Kiryat Malachi. On the way to the funeral, a road accident occurred on the Tel Aviv-Haifa road near the Zichron Yaakov interchange, and Chana was killed there. She was 20 years old when she died. She was laid to rest at the Warburg military cemetery. She left behind her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
