Mizan, Benjamin
Son of Yosef and Rachel. Born on 20.12.1930 in Alexandria, Egypt, he immigrated to Israel and about a year later was drafted into the IDF. At the outbreak of the Sinai Campaign, called to reserve duty, and on 27 March 1957 he fell in the battle of Abu-Agila. He was buried in the Military Cemetery of the Emergency Army in Shelah and on the 28th of Tishrei 5718 (23.10.1957) he was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. Left a wife and three children; The third child, born after his father fell, was named after the father.
