Mishnah, Bezalel


Was born in 1914 in the city of Vishniewitz, Poland, and attended the “Tarbut” Hebrew school. After pioneering training, he immigrated to Israel in 1939 aboard the “Colorado” and joined Kibbutz Ramat Rachel. During the Second World War, he enlisted in the British Army, served in the Artillery Corps and went through the battle from Egypt to Italy. After his release, he settled in Rishon Letzion and worked in construction and married a wife. He was an active and devoted member of the Histadrut, Mapai, and Haganah, and joined the army when he joined the army, served in the Carmeli Brigade and took part in the battles in Operation Brosh to destroy the Syrian bridgehead in the Mishmar Hayarden area. Tammuz 5708 (10.7.1948). Was brought to rest in a grave in the military cemetery in Rosh Pina. Five days after his fall, his son was born.
