Thanks to the years of training in Karate, Micha excelled in Krav Maga, so at the end of basic training, he was invited to a training course at the Counter-Terrorism Bureau in a human facility. At the end of the course, he did not want to wait idly for events, and asked to move to another fighting unit, which was active in Lebanon. He was impressed by the “sting” unit near his unit and asked to be transferred to it. This unit authorizes the soldier to serve as a dog handler – a joint training of a combatant with a dog, whose purpose is to discover explosives planted by terrorists and to locate and discover an enemy hiding and lurking. He was independent in carrying out his duties and was always carrying out the tasks assigned to him. They used to quote him: “It’s not enough combat, I want more combat” … and his friends added: “For him there is no cruiser, we need to establish a special cruiser for Micha.” Thus, for example, when the time for immigration to Lebanon reached its first operational mission, Micah contracted a severe cold. The doctor forbade him to go to Lebanon, and even ordered him to take days of sick leave. Micha refused to accept the order. He signed a document that removed the responsibility from the doctor, and went north with his friends at the planned time. Micah was characterized by curiosity, the demand for additional information, always sought to investigate and examine, to know more, to find out where to change and improve. During his service, he met several times with his commanders and raised successful proposals to make the unit more efficient. His commanders noticed at a very early stage Micha’s abilities, level of activity and recognitionZama, and assigned him to an officers’ course after a short service in Lebanon.
