Miara, Yossi
Son of Perachia and Jacob. He was born on October 10, 1968 in Ofakim. He studied at the Morasha religious elementary school in Ofakim. He completed his studies at the Ofakim religious high school in the theoretical track. Yossi was a diligent student. He was a member of the Bnei Akiva youth movement, volunteered for Magen David Adom for five years, and integrated into the social life created there. As a child, he received special treatment from his parents and older siblings. Yossi was drafted into the IDF in late 1986 and was sent to the Givati Brigade as a kashrut supervisor, and his military role allowed him to be close to his mother and help her, since he died of his father when he was 17. His commanders believed that he was a very professional soldier, dedicated to his work, disciplined and friendly. After graduating from the regular army service, he studied for a year at the Sderot College, where he went to the United States for a month and a half, where he went to work in the Jewish National Fund.
