Son of-Haya and Naftali was born in Ramat Gan on August 7, 1959. He studied at the Yahalom Elementary School in his hometown and graduated from the Blich High School in a social program. In the middle of August 1982, Lt. Yosef was released from the IDF and began studying economics and accounting at Tel Aviv University, where he excelled in his studies and served as a company commander in a infantry battalion On January 14, 1985, Was killed in a battle in Lebanon during Operation Peace for the Galilee, and was brought to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, where he was promoted to the rank of captain. In his condolence letter to the family, the defense minister noted that Sefi “was a fighter and an outstanding officer, modest, pleasant, acceptable and sympathetic to his comrades in the company and the battalion”
