All of Wafi’s brothers served in the security forces: they were all officers or career soldiers, police or IDF officers, and Effi attended elementary school in Beit Jann and completed high school in the village. . He was also the coordinator of the northern district in the Druze sector. Wafi joined the Border Guard family on December 1, 1997. He completed his training as a fighter in Jerusalem, the capital, and followed his father and brother to contribute to the state and its security, and Effi joined the police. And Effi was about to get married, and a date for the wedding was set for June 21, 2002, after he had almost finished building his new home, and he died after a tragic incident on March 17, 2002, and failed to realize his dream. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Beit Jann. Musa, parents, five brothers and four sisters. His family’s epic begun to mourn him, “Effie was young and has many features modest, was contributing, responsible, highly motivated, and like the others. And Effi was responsible for his actions, protecting the weak, and so he did and in this he died. And Effie prevented a great disaster and thwarted a war that could have happened between two villages. Saving great suffering in his death, calming winds and paying his life as a price for peace between brothers. For all this, we salute him and bow his head to him, proud of him, love and we will continue to love. You are forever remembered as a hero in your death as you were in your life. Save all of us from above. “Wafi’s contribution to the world continued with his death, and all his organs were donated to save lives, and the family received a certificate of recognition from the President of the State.
