Mashiach, Israel (“Izzy”)

Son of Naftali and Esther. Born on June 23, 1949 in Tel Aviv, he studied at the elementary school in the region and at the ORT vocational high school in Tel Aviv. He was an enthusiastic athlete. To earn a living, he began working in the Hamat factory (for metal factories) as part of his membership in the Hanoar Haoved movement. Izzy was drafted into the IDF at the beginning of May 1967 and assigned to the Ordnance Corps, on the 11th of Tammuz 5729 (11.7.1969), he fell in the line of duty and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
