Marom, Yoram
Ben Klara-Marush and Israel. Yoram was born in Hungary on July 7, 1953. In 1957 he immigrated to Israel with his parents and his older brother. The family was absorbed in Kibbutz Givat Haim, from there moved to Nazareth Illit and then to permanent residence in Petah Tikva, where Yoram completed his high school studies and received a matriculation certificate. In 1972, Yoram joined the IDF and participated in the Yom Kippur War, and fought in the Golan Heights with the 7th Brigade, commanded by Kahalani, and three months later, on May 6, 1974, he joined the Israel Police. During his service in the police, he participated in another war, the Peace for Galilee War. During his police service, Yoram studied photography and geography at the Open University, and then worked on photographs related to criminal events. His last job was in the forensics department. In 1982 Yoram married. At first the couple lived in Ramat Gan and then moved to Netanya. In January 1985, Neta, his eldest daughter, was born. In January 1989 Rotem was born. Senior sergeant Yoram fell during his service on October 15, 1996. He was buried at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, Tel Aviv, leaving a wife and two daughters.
