Maimon, Yitzhak


Son of Yosef and Aliza. Born on April 18, 1954 in Afula, he completed his studies at the Yizre’el elementary school and studied for three years at the ORT vocational school in Afula. He was a good student and acceptable to his friends and teachers. In high school, he participated in all the activities of the Gadna, and before he enlisted in the IDF he studied driving as part of a pre-military course. Yitzhak joined the Israel Defense Forces in late May 1972 and was stationed as a driver for the Israel Air Force, and when he served in various units, he kept in touch with the house, and on April 23, 1973, In the military cemetery in Afula. In a letter of condolences to the family, his commander wrote: “Yitzhak was a responsible and dedicated soldier, concerned about the unit’s affairs and Ehud’s comrades.
