Machluf, Kfir-Ephraim

Kfir-Ephraim, son of Rut and Zion Machluf, was born in Ashkelon, in 1977. In 1995 he enlisted in the IDF. Kfir served in the Border Police as a combat soldier, and already in basic training he was elected as an outstanding company cadet. Later on he served as a novice instructor, took a sergeant course and served as a sergeant for the recruits. Inspector Kfir fell in the course of his duties on 16 Av, July 23, 2013. He was killed in the morning, on his way to work, when a truck hit his motorcycle. He was thirty-six years old. Kfir was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Ashkelon. Survived by a wife, two daughters and a son, parents and three sisters.
