Levi, Shmuel

Son of Ya’akov and Zinobol. Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, February 1, 1917. Completed his studies in a Hebrew primary school in his native city, served in the Bulgarian army, immigrated to Israel in 1940. Joined the Jewish Brigade and was drafted into the IDF in February 1948 He fell in the course of his duty on the 30th of Sivan 5704 (July 1, 1954) and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Ramla.
