Levi Ruth (“Rutinka”)

Daughter of Mordechai and Gracia. Born on July 7, 1949 in Rehovot, she began studying at the Hashmonaim School in Ramat Gan and after completing her elementary studies, where she began her high school studies and studied until the end of 10th grade at Dvir High School, She went on to graduate school at the College College in Tel Aviv and completed her studies there, and was drafted to the IDF in January 1968. She was drafted in January 1968. All her ways were quiet and modest, and she liked her commanders and comrades in arms. “She did her job,” the unit commander wrote in a letter of condolence to her parents “to the satisfaction of her commanders.” But after six months of compulsory service, on the 16th of Tammuz 5728 (16.7.1968) she was killed and brought to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
