Lavan, Joseph


Ben Eliyahu and Gyora. Born on 27 April 1928 in Tripoli, Libya, he completed his studies in an Italian elementary school, was a member of the Haganah in his city and immigrated to Israel in 1950. He earned his living as a soldier and was drafted into the IDF in June 1950. He died on the 18th of Tishrei 5713 (October 7, 1952). He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Netanya. He left a wife.
