Laufer, Dror

Ben Yaffe and Ben-Zion. He was born on December 29, 1985 in Hod Hasharon, to his brother Raanan and Lazar. Dror grew up in Hod Hasharon, studied at the Yigal Alon Elementary School, in the first graduating class of Atidim and in the Hadarim High School. In the twelfth grade, Dror stopped his studies at the Hadarim High School and moved to the Ankori High School in Raanana to complete his matriculation exams, and Ankori made a distinction and graduated with honors, both of whom were in charge of computers and airplanes. Dror enlisted himself with great effort and perseverance, shedding dozens of kilograms, and his goal was to reach a combat corps, especially the armored corps, and to continue the family tradition of his father, brother and uncle who served in the Armored Corps. He was assigned to the Armored Corps School and completed basic training, despite the fact that he had fallen ill On the day of the 28th of Iyar 5765 (September 6, 2005), Yom Yerushalayim, Dror fell in the line of duty when he completed his duties, During the course, he was only nineteen and a half years old, and he was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Herzliya, leaving behind his parents, brother and sister.
