Kushnir, Victor

Victor, son of Yelena and Vadim Kushnir, was born in 1990 in Russia. On March 11, 1993, he immigrated with his parents to Eretz Israel and settled in Kibbutz Ramat Hakovesh. Victor was very eager to enlist in the IDF, and was willing to invest great efforts in order to be accepted into a combat unit. On 16 March 2009, he was drafted, placed in the Givati ​​Brigade, and began his training course at the brigade training base. Victor fell during his service on May 9, 2009, at the age of nineteen. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva. Survived by parents and brother.
