Kotah, Alon

Son of Haim and Ruma. He was born on March 21, 1958, in Petah Tikva. He studied at the “Oranim” elementary school and later in the “Nahalim” boarding school. Alon was a member of the neighborhood youth committees. In this framework, which he loved very much, he spent most of the leisure time and deliberated about his activities in the social and sports fields. He especially liked to play football, and was also outside the club. Alon read books a lot and listened to music. Alongside his desire to succeed in his profession and his willingness to invest efforts in establishing his future, he also knew how to exploit the pleasures of life. His serious attitude toward work and study did not contradict the sharpness of life that was inherent in him. Alon was conscripted into the IDF on October 11, 1977 and assigned to the Ordnance Corps on August 8, 1978, during his service. Survived by his parents, brothers and sisters. His parents donated a Torah scroll to the synagogue in their area of residence.
