Kinkulkin, Moshe-Zalman (Mishka)
Son of Shoshana and Eliahu, was born in 1922 in the city of Iwia near Vilna, Poland. His father died in his childhood and Moshe Zalman was forced to work for his livelihood and support his family. Moshe-Zalman was enthusiastic about life in Israel, found a place to live in Tivon and worked as a locksmith in the electric company. A few months later, the War of Independence broke out. He enlisted on April 18, 1948, before he was drafted, and served in a division of the Carmeli Brigade, noting: “Hitler will not tell me again to dig a hole …” Moshe Zalman participated in various battles.
