In his letter to the bereaved family, Lieutenant Colonel Dror, the battalion commander, wrote: “Staff Sergeant Roman Kellerman was an exemplary soldier and performed his duties in peace and quiet. He gained many friends and was highly regarded by his commanders. We knew him as a soldier who did his best, without any complaints or hesitations. Every task needed a responsible soldier, Roman was sent to her. We will miss Roman, his commanders and friends, as a soldier who knows how to listen to his friends. We will have a novel, which he always counted in his hand, as a dedicated and responsible soldier “
