Kasztner, Aryeh


Born in 1925, son of Aharon immigrated to Israel from Romania in 1941. He lived in Netanya and Tel Aviv and joined the British army in 1942. After being discharged from the British Army, he joined the ranks of the Irgun underground. Arieh fell on May 30, 1948, in battle for Rosh Ha’Ayin, when Irgun units captured Rosh Ha’Ayin from the Iraqi army forces, and they returned to conquer the place in a counter-attack.
