Karpel, Eitan (“Tzubchik”)

Eitan, son of Yehuda and Chaya Karpel, was born in 1947 in Haifa. In July 1965 he was drafted into the IDF and he was in compulsory service. The Six-Day War broke out, and when a battle took place in Jenin on the second day of the battles, on the 27th of Iyar 5727 (June 6, 1967), Eitan was hit by a cannonball. He was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
