Kadoshi, Yitzhak (Itzik)


Son of Zilka Ilana and Tzaddik. He was born in Jerusalem on April 18, 1959. He studied at the Ma’aleh elementary school, where he moved to Yeshivat Reishit Hokhmah, Where he married Dvora and began his military service in January 1978, first in the Nahal Brigade and later in the Armored Corps. In the middle of 1981, his eldest daughter, Tamar, was born. In the middle of 1982 his second daughter, Batya, was born, and at the beginning of 1984 his son Shmuel was born. Later on, the family moved to Jerusalem, where Itzik worked devotedly in the mail and received a thank you letter for his diligence. Afterward, he moved to a rehabilitation plant in Jerusalem and at the same time spent a lot of his time volunteering for the Israeli mental health organization in Jerusalem – Enosh. Despite the relatively short time, he joined the branch management. Itzik stood out in Hanoch not only in his attitude and dedication to the club members, but also in exploiting his technical skills to improve the place. He nurtured a beautiful garden, and it was clear that Anush was more than a volunteer and that his concern for the beam in the branch was great. His untimely death interrupted his activity in this framework, to the deep sorrow of the members of the branch. In addition to his energetic volunteerism, he also found time to study psychology and special education at the Open University. Itzik fell during his reserve duty on the 12th of Tishrei 5710 (1 October 1990) and was brought to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. He left behind a wife, three children, parents, two brothers – Elitzur and Amnon and three sisters – Yaffa, Ruti and Malka.
