Son of Henia and Amnon. He was born on August 12, 1973 in Givatayim. Lior, brother to Menahem (Nachi) and Galit, was the middle of the three. Leo. Lior began his studies at the “Borochov” elementary school and graduated from the Ort Technicom high school in Givatayim, in architecture and building design. His classmates from high school remember him as a nice, quiet, introverted guy. Lior joined the IDF on 2 December 1991 and chose to serve in the Givati ​​Brigade, where Nachi, his older brother, served as a brother, served together for a year, loved, cared for, helped and helped each other, and continued his service in Givati. Lior, a combat soldier and paramedic in Givati, was killed in a hostile terrorist operation in the village of Aysheya in southern Lebanon on Thursday, July 8, 1993, about a month before he turned 20. Lior went out with his friends to “open a road” in Lebanon, when an explosive device and terrorists were discovered. When he jumped out of the armored vehicle he grabbed two bullets in the chest from the terrorists’ fire, which was ambushed along the side of the road, and was killed on the spot, along with Sergeant Eyal Levy, who was laid to rest in the Kiryat Shaul military cemetery. “After his death he was promoted to sergeant, and according to his commanders, Lior was a” combat medic, professional, courageous and experienced. He stood out in his qualities as a man and as a true friend, with a strong desire to give of himself for his friends and family.
