Joua, Suleiman


Son of Hippa and Fadel. Suleiman was born in the village of Majar on 27 May 1951. He grew up in Kfar Majar and completed eight years of study. Due to the difficult economic situation that prevailed at that time, Suleiman was forced to stop his studies and help support the family with agricultural work. When he reached the age of conscription, Suleiman enlisted in the IDF and served in the 299. After his discharge he began working in the factory in Beit She’an, and on October 22, 1975, Suleiman joined the Border Police, where he married and had four children. “Suleiman was a wise man, a social man, who loved others and especially his family, and was very fond of reading books on January 1, 1977. On January 1, 1977, Suleiman died of heart failure while performing his duties. He was survived by a wife and four children.
