Israeli, Yaakov-Yehuda


Son of Yisrael and Chana. He was born in Bialia, Poland, on August 9, 1945, and immigrated to Israel in 1949. He studied at the elementary and high school of Alliance in Ramat Aviv and graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, In August 1963 and was assigned to the Air Force. Showed a tendency to advance and reached the rank of lieutenant. On the 2 nd of Tishrei 5728 (November 2, 1967) he fell as a pilot while carrying out his duties. Shortly before he fell, he established a home in Israel. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. The commander of the squadron, in “thirty” to Yaakov’s death, wrote his wife a letter of condolence on his behalf and on behalf of his comrades in the squadron: “During his service in the unit he became popular with us all because of his character and his being friendly. together”.
