Son of Marcel and Yitzhak. Shaul was born on the 10th of Tevet 5714 (10.12.1953), grew up in Tirat Carmel, was the seventh of ten brothers and sisters and grew up to be a sweet and smiling child and brought a lot of light into the family, As a little boy, how great his happiness was, and how his eyes shone when he managed to get a few shekels from his father to help him. To buy groceries at the grocery store, those big black eyes could express a great deal of love, especially to his mother, whom he could, very naturally, And even when he was older, he would lie down and rest his head at her feet, and he also loved his sisters, who took a great part in raising him and taking care of his needs. He admired his older brother, Abraham, and they shared a common room that they had become “a camp” Training, “lifting small weights together, stretching hand springs and wide springs, would practice hand-shaking and exercise in the gymnastics on the mazar Estate. Shaul also liked to watch Arab films, listened to Abd al-Halim Hafez’s music and recorded his films. Shaul enlisted in the army with a little fear, but he was still shy and humble, and his connection to the family was strong. But, oddly enough, he loved the army and was proud to be part of the Border Guard family. He saw his friends as brothers, loved them, and they gave him back love. He served in a base near the Lod airport and was a member of the honor guard when VIPs came to visit or leave the country, and some of these events were commemorated in pictures that were published in the press at the time, and the whole family was proud of him.There Shaul fell during his service on 9 Nissan 5735 (21 March 1973). Twenty-one years old. He was buried in the Kfar Samir cemetery. Survived by a mother and nine brothers and sisters. Shaul’s family wrote: “The family, which was a cheerful family and all the time the brothers were gathering for family events in one of the houses, became a family of pain, sorrow and deep grief, and his mother, who was attached to her Lev and soul, Expecting him to return, as if he were still arriving, sturdy in uniform with a broad smile on his lips and big black eyes looking at her lovingly. ” Several children in the family were named after Shaul
