Hipsh, Doron

Doron ben Asher and Wicky. He was born on the 28th of Adar, March 27, 1960 in Tel Aviv. When he was two years old, the family moved to Be’er Sheva, where Doron studied at Maoz Elementary School and at the local high school. Doron was a gifted athlete. He also engaged in volunteer activities, within the framework of Magen David Adom. He was very popular in society, cheerful and smiling, and serious in his attitude to life and with great ambitions for the future. In August 1978 he was drafted into the IDF and sent to a squad commanders’ course. On the 30th day in Av 5738, September 9th 1978, he fell during his service and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva. Doron left behind his parents and brothers.
