Herzig, Benjamin (Tzigi)

Son of Adele (Adina) and Yosef. He was born on June 9, 1924, in the town of Snock in Galicia, and immigrated to Israel with his family when he was three years old. On 11 Tamuz, July 10, 1946, while digging in the streets, a block collapsed and he was buried under it. He was laid to rest in the Nahalat Yitzhak cemetery. Left parents and a sister. The details of the event were published in the newspapers of the period. The Scouts group in Rehovot issued a pamphlet in his memory on the sheloshim for Benjamin’s death.
