In 1989 Yosef married his son Esther (Etty). A year after their marriage, their eldest daughter, Sarit, was born, and ten years later their youngest daughter, Lior, was born. Joseph was an exemplary husband and father, a devoted, patient and understanding family man. He liked to spend time with the extended and extended family, and he was the driving force in meetings and trips, funny and joyous to everyone and creating a cheerful atmosphere. The members knew that even if the intensive pace of life did not allow them to meet frequently, in times of trouble they could be certain that Yosef would be there for them. Joseph is remembered as a noble and steadfast figure and a lover of man. His friends in the service say that he was fond of all his colleagues and commanders, stood out for his extraordinary kindness, his good interpersonal relations, and the optimism he radiated from him. Joseph was always willing to volunteer and help, and he did so with a smile and calmness. He was endowed with devotion and patience, and served as a model for young soldiers who served with him. Another line to his image was drawn by his colleague to the unit: “You are one who is always content with the least and his eye is not narrow in the other, hidden, a dedicated and unique man of work, a person without jealousy and resentment, a bad deed and cheating and gossip toward others are strangers to him, Or a senior commander, you are at the beginning of a special person with a smile that conveys a positive atmosphere, a soldier and a highly motivated professional, and I did not know many of you during my years of service in the IDF. “Senior sergeant Yosef Heine fell during his duties on Friday, (June 9, 2008) and is forty-four years old. He was laid to rest in the Ashdod military cemetery. Survived by Raya, two daughters, parents, sister and three brothers. At the memorial ceremony marking the 30th anniversary of his downfall, a presentation was made in his memory with pictures from his various life stations. The presentation has been uploaded to the Internet and appears at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNbWHG92Dv8. At that time, his eldest daughter, Sarit, eulogized him: “Father, it has been a month without you, a difficult and exhausting month, full of pain that never ends … I am afraid that many people did not get to know you and know what kind of person you were … A person who always made sure we had good, first of all was for us – the family, looking after others, happy, smiling, kind, who always made us laugh with nonsense, who did not miss us, but now we miss the most important thing – you and you can not Do nothing toGo back. … Do you understand? Instead of attending my graduation party, proud and seeing me getting my diploma and happy, I should attend your funeral. Instead of being happy for the end of my twelve years of schooling and celebrating my induction party, we are suffering from your premature death, something we never imagined. We hurt your absence and carry you with us forever. Father, protect us from above. “My dear father, you left us and it’s hard for me to say good-bye to you. We are all here for you with great pain. You left me with Mother and Sarit alone, and now you’re in heaven. I miss you very much, always be with me. “She eulogized Yosef Rachel, his older sister:” My dear brother Yossi, you left us prematurely, we did not manage to part from you. We will always remember you in our hearts. Your character and your smile are engraved forever. The softness and power that dwells in you together serve as an eternal example to all those who knew you. In eternal love, forever, from one eternal soul to another. “The eulogy of the brother-in-law Rosie Levy, sister of Esther the wife:” When the heart cries only God hears. The pain rises from the soul. ‘ A month went by-walking in silence, slowly, as if he were not hinting at tomorrow. And we all have one prayer that is borne-that sorrow from now on will pass on your door. Time seemed to stop. All of Yossi’s life passed, and suddenly they were gone. “In the letter of consolation to the bereaved family, Lt. Col. Frank Shimoni, commander of the unit, wrote:” Joseph was the kind of person you can not see every day. … The squadron soldiers and the vehicle will not forget the beautiful moments with Yosef at the base, the shared experiences, the kindness that characterized him, the optimism he radiated from him and the help he used to give to others. The Heine Family At this difficult hour, I, on my behalf and on behalf of the commanders and soldiers of the unit, wish to participate in their heavy mourning. We, the members of the administration squadron, promise to continue to contribute to the security of the State and to share with us the memory of Yosef. May they rest in peace. “In memory of Yosef, the daughter Sarit established a memorial site on the Internet with eulogies and farewells, memorial candles and a picture gallery. Dear and beloved, you left me suddenly. The pain is deep and I hope at any moment to wake up from the nightmare. ‘My handsome father,’ that’s what I always called you, and that’s how it will always be to me – the perfect father with the amazing smile, and the father I always wanted and knew he was on my side unconditionally. The patience, the understanding, the love he radiates will no longer accompany me but in memories. “I knew you for quite a few years during which I performed a number of positions at the base, including, inter alia, working directly with me every day in the Emergency Department . What I say and what I will write about a family man and wearing a uniform like your character, all that I write can not explain to anyone, the one who does not know, who he really was Yossi Heine. Yossi, you were walking in your last path as a man of noble soul and barb Levav, loving man wherever he is and the man whom he respects and values greatly. A man who is innocent and honest, should be said of you, because it is you and so will be remembered forever, a man of integrity and modesty that is not found in many of us. … You have done your work and your mission without fear or bias, you are among those who can be defined and closed eyes as a person whose mouth and heart are one. … I am sure that you, somewhere high up on the wings of the Divine Presence, proudly gaze upon your loving family and know how to comfort them and help them continue their way of life. Goodbye, my dear friend, and rest”My daughter will be in heaven!” Wrote Liron Nona. “Yossi, an innocent smile and a youthful laugh were your lot for years. … I was picked prematurely, I did not have time to see you recently, and I will regret it all my life. I hope to wake up one day from this terrible dream and go back to living a happy life with you and all the lovers! You are the one and you have no substitute! Keep all of us up there and remember that you’ll always be engraved in my heart. I love always. “Malka Aldabah wrote:” Life as a flowing river / Dreams You have not yet fulfilled / Not in the stars or in the stars / Only in you God trusts … Darkness / Just give me a sign for another hope / You’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel. “A woman of valor, who will find it,” they say in the blessing, “And I knew a man of valor,” “No one like him, / Tall and humble, / And always a smile on his lips. / A bad word about no one will say, / And always on the dignity of everyone kept. / A good and pleasant man, / whom I always loved to be. “He’s walking away from us in silence,” Wait, wait a little, “Here my friend was lost!” Ruthy and Yuli Barco wrote: “How did you disappear like this without any warning ?! / How did you go without any notice ?! / Apparently you did not understand either! / Which you did not know either! / Shocked by the message / hurt the result. / It is hard to understand the way of the world! / The picture that is left with us is you smiling … / and we hope that this will remember you all. “
