Heiman, Benjamin

Son of-Robert Mordechai and Marta. He was born on July 18, 1928 in Kolonia, Germany, and immigrated to Israel in 1936. After completing his studies at the Beit Hakerem high school in Jerusalem, he studied at the Hebrew Technion in Haifa and completed his studies as a mechanical engineer, Yaakov, an active member of the Hagana, belonged to the Palmach and took part in the War of Independence from beginning to end with many operations. On September 18, 1955, he fell in a battle near Nir-Yitzhak and was brought to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
