Haruvi, Yoav
Son of Avraham and Chana. He was born on July 29, 1947 in Tel Aviv. He studied at the elementary school in Yagur, and continued in Kibbutz Hahotrim, where he studied in the following classes until he completed high school. He became a member of the kibbutz and worked in plumbing. He liked to be alone at times and in this moment of his recollection in dreams but at the same time he was full of life and when he needed it, he was also bright. From childhood he had enjoyed contact with a friend. He was the center of the younger group on the kibbutz, edited the company newsletter and was active in the cultural field. He was also interested in sports and belonged to the volleyball team at Hapoel. He was also interested in chess and in this game he organized various competitions. He had a definite tendency to write prose and poetry – especially chants to holiday and party parties (and later in the army). He was sharp-eyed and intelligent, and penetrated the depths of things in writing. Yoav abandoned conventions of his own accord to make his way to himself according to his conscience and understanding. It was not rebelliousness for its own sake but a deep inner urge to define itself and discover its way in life. Full of joy and innocence, was willing to give vent to his cheerful feelings and lend a helping hand to others. He was a whole body and soul, devoted to the job with all his physical and mental strength. In November 1965 he was drafted into the IDF and when he went to the army – especially during the war – he expressed his heartfelt concern in writing: “Will the young people at home test and truly friendship prove themselves?” On July 17, 1967, . He was laid to rest in his kibbutz. “Bulletin of the Poachers” came out in “thirty” to fall. Hakibbutz Hame’uchad’s memoir “Who Fell in the War” was mentioned. A booklet appeared on the kibbutz in memory of Ofer Munk. From his estate was brought in volume 4 of “Goily Ash”, the school bag of the fallen sons of Israel.
