Grover, Galit


Daughter of Bella and Dorel Adrian. She was born on 17.3.1977 in Nazareth Illit. Rinat’s eldest sister. Galit began her studies at the Gilboa Elementary School and completed her studies at the Moshe Sharett High School in the biological track, and in mid-February 1996 Galit enlisted in the IDF and was assigned to the Intelligence Corps. She was sent to a special course of the IAF to be assigned to one of the intelligence units. During the course, Galit was discovered as an intelligent and intelligent girl, choosing her words carefully. She was motivated and eager to succeed, and her achievements in the course were high. Galit was a quiet, smiling girl with high morals, brought up to patriotism and patriotism. Was a perfectionist, loved her classmates and civics, loved to help others, was socially active and helped organize the graduation party of the course. On August 28, 1996, Galit was killed in a car accident near the Fureidis Junction, on her way home from the graduation party. She was nineteen years old. Corporal Liat Ben-Yishai and Corporal Liat Zano, her classmates, were also killed in the accident. Galit was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Nazareth Illit. Left behind her parents and a painful sister. After her fall, Galit was promoted to the rank of corporal, and her parents and her sister engraved on her gravestone: “You were the discovery of our lives, and above us Galit. Your name is burning, Galit. “To commemorate her memory, the family placed a memorial candle in the synagogue next to their home and purchased a curtain for the Chabad synagogue in Upper Nazareth. In memory of the girls a square was established in Nazareth Illit, “Kikar HaBanot”. Her family wrote: “God picks the best and Galit, without a doubt, is the best and beautiful flower that God can choose.
