Golani (Juma’a), Moshe


Son of Menashe and Simchah. He was born in Tiberias in 1920. He studied at a Talmud Torah in Tiberias, and also at the Kol Israel Haverim school there. During the Mandate, he served two years in the police and two years in the Hebrew settlement police. Even after the establishment of the state, he served for a year in the police. From November 1947 he was active in maintaining positions in the Old City of Tiberias. Where he was wounded by a shell. Although he was recognized as a disabled war veteran, he joined the reserves and on 21 September 1951, he fell in the line of duty. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Tiberias. He left a wife and six children.
