Son of Pnina and Binyamin. Born on 28.4.1968 in Ramat Hasharon, Ziv attended the Ussishkin Elementary School, the Kalman Junior High School, and the Ramat Hasharon High School, where he was a spectacular child – strong, erect and broad in the shoulders A smart and sensitive child, a witty and humorous man, a friendly and friendly person, surrounded by a group of friends and friends, an excellent athlete and a young player who played handball, and was one of the best players in the Ramat Hasharon sports team. In October 1986 Ziv was recruited to serve in the Israel Defense Forces. He began his military career in elite units: first in an aviation course and later in the naval commando. In the framework of the naval commando unit, he underwent infantry training, a paratroop course and a squadron commander course, at the end of which he was awarded the rank of corporal, and after many doubts Ziv decided to leave the naval commando unit and was sent to serve in the Commanders’ And training. Ziv’s commanders recommended that he go to officer’s office and that Ziv did indeed decide whether to continue his military career for another year. During this period, the difficult events in the Gaza Strip intensified and this unit often left for operational activities in the area.
